The updated identity reflects MEADFA’s evolution and its role in uniting and representing the duty free and travel retail industry across the Middle East and Africa.

As the Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) celebrates its 25th Anniversary in 2026, the Association is pleased to announce the opening of entries for the MEADFA Awards 2026, recognizing the companies, initiatives and individuals driving excellence across the Middle East and Africa's duty free and travel retail industry.

The 2026 MEADFA Conference will take place in Rabat, Morocco, from 15th to 17th November 2026, marking a special milestone as the Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) celebrates its 25th anniversary. The conference will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, bringing together leading figures from across the duty free and travel retail industry for three days of discussion, networking and celebration.

The 2025 MEADFA Conference in Dubai, UAE, came to a close today, and MEADFA has confirmed that 736 delegates attended. With the conference room reaching maximum capacity, this year’s edition reflected the strong momentum and confidence driving the duty free and travel retail industry across the Middle East and Africa.
